- Salt and pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
Mix beef, ale, and onion in a pan. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add carrots, potatoes, and mushrooms. Cook 10 more minutes.
Stir in flour, herbs, salt, and pepper.
Pour mixture into a pie dish.
Cover with puff pastry. Brush with beaten egg.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions:
Mix crushed wafers, pecans, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie dish.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Whip heavy cream separately until stiff peaks form.
Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Add vanilla.
Spread half the cream mixture in the crust.
Mash 1 cup raspberries with sugar. Spread over cream layer.
Top with remaining cream mixture.
Garnish with whole raspberries.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Meat and Potato Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 onions, diced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cold water
Instructions:
Brown the beef and onions in a large pot.
Add potatoes, broth, and seasonings. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
Mix flour and butter. Add water to form a dough.
Roll out dough and line a pie dish.
Pour in the meat mixture.
Cover with remaining dough. Cut slits on top.
Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Fidget Pie
You’ll need:
- 500g shortcrust pastry
- 300g diced ham or gammon
- 2 medium potatoes, sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp sage, chopped
- 250ml chicken stock or cider
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Roll out the pastry and line a pie dish. Keep some for the lid.
Layer ham, potatoes, onions, and apples in the dish. Sprinkle sage between layers.
Pour in the stock or cider. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover with the pastry lid. Seal edges and make a small hole in the center.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
Let it cool a bit before serving. Enjoy your homemade Fidget Pie!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 package chocolate instant pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 8 oz Cool Whip, divided
- Chopped peanut butter cups for topping
Instructions:
Mix cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
Beat in powdered sugar.
Spread mixture in pie crust.
Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick.
Pour pudding over peanut butter layer.
Chill for 4 hours.
Top with Cool Whip and peanut butter cups before serving.

Caramel-Chocolate-Pecan Ice Cream Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 2 pints vanilla ice cream
- 1 pint dulce de leche ice cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 6 tbsp caramel sauce
- 6 tbsp chocolate sauce
Instructions:
Spread 1 pint of vanilla ice cream in the pie crust. Freeze for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle half the pecans over the ice cream. Drizzle with 3 tbsp each of caramel and chocolate sauce.
Freeze for 2 hours until firm.
Add the dulce de leche ice cream on top. Spread evenly.
Top with remaining pecans and drizzle with leftover sauces.
Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
