Hi! I’m Hanna, and this is my food blog.
I’m a self-taught home cook who lives in Tennessee with my husband and our sweet dog, Loki.
I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until recently that I started taking pictures of what I made.
It’s been such an amazing way to document the process of learning how to make more complex dishes, and it’s also been a great way to share with friends and family what they missed when they weren’t home.
My blog is all about helping other people learn how to make their favorite dishes at home—and maybe even teaching them something new!
I love to teach people how to serve themselves well.
Whether it’s through a new recipe or a simple trick for storing leftovers, the goal is always to make your life easier—and tastier.
It all started with a craving. I was hungry, but I didn’t have any food around because I was so busy working on other things that I forgot to do one of the most important things: make sure my tummy was full. That’s when it hit me—this whole thing with food wasn’t just about the pleasure of eating; it was also about survival!
And if survival was important enough to be included in our DNA, shouldn’t we think about it more?
So here we are: Hangry Hanna on a mission to make sure you never have an empty stomach again!
1. Side Dishes
Knowing what to serve with your main dish can be tricky, but it doesn’t have to be.
One of my favorite things about cooking is the way it brings people together over a meal.
And whether you’re making dinner for one or feeding an army of hungry mouths, side dishes are an essential part of getting everyone fed in style.
Meals don’t have to be made from scratch every time!
If you know how to store leftovers properly, there’s no reason why every meal can’t be delicious and nutritious at the same time (and save you some serious time in the kitchen).
Snacks are one of my favorite things about life—and food!
Whether it’s a sweet treat or an easy party tray, I’ve got you covered with all kinds of fun ways to get your snack on without breaking the bank or stressing out about making sure everyone has something they like at the party (or wherever).
My goal is always to create recipes that are simple enough for even novice cooks but still tasty enough for seasoned pros.
You won’t find any complicated ingredients or hard-to-follow instructions here—just good old-fashioned home cooking!
Enjoy Your Stay!
I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I do!
I’ll be posting recipes on a regular basis so you can make some of the best dishes you’ve ever tasted.
You’ll find all sorts of recipes ranging from simple to gourmet, but don’t worry—they’re all easy to follow!
